CRITICAL PEDAGOGY

  Critical Pedagogy Critical Pedagogy is also called as ‘ conscientization’ or education for critical thinking . The term critical pedagogy   was introduced by the Brazilian educator, Paulo Reglus Nevus Friere in his book ‘Pedagogy of the Oppressed’ . This book is dedicated to the poor and deprived people of the world and to those who identify with and fight for the poor people.   Constructivism   C onstructivism is a philosophy or theory of learning . It does not represent a single School of thought as there are several versions of constructivism- radical constructivism ,  cognitive constructiv i sm ,  social constructivism  etc . Definition : C onstructivism is a philosophy of learning, that by reflecting on our experiences we construct our own understanding of the world  we live in .
