 The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Kerala, is an autonomous organization under the Department of General Education, Government of Kerala. Established in 1994.

 SCERT functions as a pivotal body for academic matters related to school education from pre-primary to higher secondary levels. Modeled after the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), SCERT aims to enhance the quality of education in the state through various initiatives in curriculum development, teacher training, and educational research.

 Objectives of SCERT
